Karl lived his life throughout the Midwest. He came to live in the Upstate in 2007 and attended Greer High School as a senior. Here is where his love and passion for running was born. He walked onto the Greer Track and became the Track Captain and the Coach’s Assistant. His main events were intermediate hurdles, high hurdles, and the 4x4 relay. He made it all the way to the qualifying trials and came in 10
th. He was amazed at his ability to run. He stumbled upon Run In and became Run In’s Webmaster Flash. He now attends Greenville Tech on a transfer program to Clemson University.
James Brooks
Age: 17 (maturity of a 30 year old)

James is our youngest employee here. He is fast, great with people and very knowledgeable. He has lived in South Carolina all 16 years of his life. James loves to compete in all the popular races around town. In fact, if you ran the Reedy River 10k last year you may have seen him passed out on the side of the road at about the 5.5 mile marker. Not his best race to say the least. One more random fact about him is that he is the owner of possibly the coolest watch in the world, so come in and see it!! (and him)
John ‘JB’ Bruno

JB is an Ironman in training. He has a passion for running and a fetish for ultimate Frisbee. He ran cross country and track at the University of North Florida. He recently moved to Greenville in October. He is single!! He is the second oldest of 7 (Yes! I said 7) children. He is currently training for the Florida Ironman in Panama City on November 6th, 2010. He is a true Steelers Fan.

Sam "Samwise" Giampapa

Sam is training for the Navy Seals this summer. He has a passion for running, working out, and snowboarding. This guy is dedicated! He is currently a Junior in college studying Cellular Biology. So any biological problems... just ask him. He is the oldest of 4 children. (Not anywhere close to JB) Also Single!!! He is a true Bears fan.
Beatrice ‘Bea’ Glessman

Born in Vietnam and raised in Texas, Bea brings an endearingly feisty spunk to the atmosphere at Run In. She is fluent in French, Vietnamese, and Chinese (“English?”). She ran track in high school. She has two amazing and intelligent daughters. She just finished the New York Marathon. Want to find out more? Just come in, have a seat and listen, Bea Knows!
Ryan ‘The Great Kampsini" Kamp

Ryan is also training for an Ironman. He played water polo and swam at the University of Florida. He is the shuffleboard master. He graduated with a degree in Sport Management and Business. He came to Greenville in the spring of 2009 and has committed to competing at the Ford Florida Ironman(140.6) this fall. He comments on a daily basis that his house is full of leather-bound books and has the aroma of rich mahogany.
Jeff ‘Elvis’ O’Connell
Age: 22
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Jeff came down from the cold and snow of eastern Pennsylvania to run cross country and track and field at Furman University. He specialized in the steeple chase on the track and philosophy in the classroom. He is the resident expert on the death of metaphysics and the emergence of philosophical pluralism, among other things. He is also the World's greatest employee.
Ivan ‘Ivan the Great’ O’Keefe

Biloxi, MS
Ivan is also training for an Ironman. He swam for Biloxi High and won South State and State four years in a row. He moved to Greenville, SC to finish up school at Greenville Tech. for Geomatics Technology (surveying). He has been working at Run In since September of 2009 and has also committed to the Panama City, Florida Ironman. True Story. Do work son.
