- The Oklawaha Greenway — An Overview
- Hendersonville's 3.5 mile Oklawaha Greenway twists through wetlands, knolls and woods to associate four parks. It takes its name from a Cherokee word signifying "gradually moving sloppy waters" since a significant part of the Greenway runs along Mud Creek, a vital piece of the Henderson County watershed. The Greenway at present has two birding "problem areas" assigned by eBird due to the wide assortment of birds it draws in. Wildflowers, local trees and little well evolved creatures proliferate. The completely cleared Greenway is a five-minute drive from downtown Hendersonville and effectively open from five helpful stopping regions.

- The Oklawaha Greenway extends 3.25 miles, associating Jackson Park, Patton Park, Berkeley Park, Sullivan Park and William H. Ruler Memorial Park. It is a moderately level cleared trail and is handicap open. Boink The Greenway is a 10 all inclusive black-top way for cyclists and people on foot. Mileage signs have been introduced each quarter of a mile along the path to assist with following clients know how far they have voyaged and how much farther it is to their objective. Seats, drinking fountains, and three bike FixIt Stations are accessible along the path.
